As a Financial Services Professional and Co-Owner of Movement Financial Group, Rachel has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients throughout her career; from small business owners, executives of companies, to young families growing and those transitioning to retirement. Her greatest passion however, has come from working with clients going through major changes or transitions in life.

Whether it be divorce, loss of a loved one, a career change, or a newborn child, Rachel cares about making sure that her clients are taken care of each step of the way. Taking the time to get to know her clients individually and creating a safe, judgment free space to become financially empowered are of key importance next to learning about each client's goals, their concerns, and their risk tolerance. Working with these pillars in mind has allowed Rachel to be recognized as an Executive Council member* with New York Life for three consecutive years (2020-2022) and recognized industry wide as a proud member of the Million Dollar Round Table** (2020-2022).

Prior to financial services Rachel graduated from the University of Connecticut, obtaining a dual degree in Business and Finance. Rachel is currently completing continued education at The American College of Financial Services.

When she is not tending to business, Rachel enjoys spending time with her partner and two dogs. Her hobbies include hiking, golfing, playing tennis, running, and gardening. She is passionate about creating edible landscapes and reducing waste. What she wants people to take away from meeting with her is you get to decide how you want to live your life, life is too short, so be happy and enjoy it while taking the steps to create the lifestyle you dream of.

One thing our clients appreciate about working with us is that we don’t believe in cookie-cutter services or a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we follow a meticulous process designed to help get to know each client’s situation, goals, and level of risk tolerance so that we can make appropriate recommendations to meet their needs. Everyone is different and we may amend our approach to suit a specific client, but in general, we utilize the following process to help those we’re privileged to serve.

Initial Meeting

Every family's financial situation is unique. That's why it's so important to find out as much as we can about you and your financial goals. The more we know about you, the more precise recommendations we can make and the more we can help you. As a result, we may take some time to discuss your hopes, dreams, and objectives, and the things that really matter to you. This is the basis for the first meeting with anyone we sit down with.

Second Meeting

As needed, we will work with you to identify and prioritize your objectives, and then help establish benchmark goals. This is important because we live in a world of unlimited choices. People often fail to achieve objectives because they try to accomplish too much at once, or they don't attach specific deadlines to their goals. By breaking down your goals to specific objectives, you can look at available resources and decide which goals are realistic, and which should be adjusted and scaled down.

Third Meeting

Based on our conversation and analysis, we can recommend the steps that it will take to help you achieve your financial goals.

Final Implementation

We'll implement your strategy, and work closely with you and your other third party professionals to ensure its success. We'll monitor progress and provide ongoing service as your needs and situation change over time.

Annual Review Meetings:
Not less than once a year

This is not a one-shot deal. Strategies need to be adjusted periodically as your life and the economy changes. We will work with you over the years to help keep your strategy on track with your changing needs.

Morningstar allows us to stress test your portfolio and build based on your risk tolerance. Regular monitoring allows us to make sure we are always working with the most up to date and accurate information, giving you confidence and peace of mind in the work we do together.
